In accordance with New Zealand's Consumer Guarantees Act 1993

At Glossa Nails, we are committed to providing high-quality nail services with care, skill, and professionalism. We understand that sometimes things don’t go as expected, and we want to ensure that you are confident in your rights as a client.

Your Rights Under the Consumer Guarantees Act

Under New Zealand law, you are entitled to:

• Services performed with reasonable care and skill

• Services that are fit for the agreed purpose

• Services provided within a reasonable timeframe

• A reasonable price (if not set in advance)

If our service does not meet these standards, you may be entitled to a remedy, refund, or partial refund, depending on the nature of the issue.

Service Redo or Touch-Up

If you experience a problem with your nails — such as lifting, cracking, or a result that differs significantly from what was agreed upon — please rebook with us online within 7 days of your appointment .

• We will assess the issue and, where appropriate, offer a correction or touch-up.

• Issues reported after 7 days may not be eligible.

• Photos or in-person assessment may be required to validate this claim.

Aftercare Responsibility

To ensure the longevity of your nails, we provide aftercare advice at each appointment. If damage occurs due to neglect, misuse, or failure to follow aftercare, we may not be able to offer a free correction or refund.

No Full Refunds 

We do not offer refunds if you simply change your mind after a service is completed. This includes:

• Changing your preferred shape, colour, or style post-application

• Personal dissatisfaction not caused by a fault in the service

However, we are always happy to discuss adjustments or alternatives before or during your appointment or if you rebook.

How to Request a Refund or Fix

If you believe your service was not up to standard:

1. Contact us within 7 days

2. Include a clear description and photo evidence if possible

3. We will assess the issue and respond within 2 business days
